Who can register?
Participants must bring their membership card or a copy of it on the day of the event, in case of checks by the Federation judges.

2 Is my 2020 medical certificate valid for the 2021 edition?
A medical certificate is valid for one year from issue. This means all riders must hold a medical certificate still valid on the day of the event, 19th September 2021.
3 Do you have to be a member of an association to take part in the race?
No, if you are not a member of an association you can just present a medical certificate for competitive sports, and your one-day FCI card to guarantee third-party insurance cover.
4 How many routes are there?
One, 102.8 km. Click here for the route.
5 Will there be refreshment points?
Yes, two. One at San Casciano in Val di Pesa (km 54) and one at San Donato (Km 70). Click here for the route.
6 Is the chip compulsory?
The Winning Time chip is compulsory. If necessary it can be rented at a cost of €5 when picking up the race pack.
7 Race pack
The 2021 race pack includes a 75cl bottle of Chianti Classico wine and gourmet food products to serve with it, and sponsor gadgets.
8 Can I pick up someone’s else’s race pack?
Yes, if you have their authorisation. The delegator must however show their Green Pass or equivalent certificates (see point 1 “How Do I Enter”) before entering the grid.
Race packs can be picked up at the Village only on Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and on Sunday from 7-9 am. Access exclusively granted to registered race participants, on showing their Green Pass or equivalent certificates (see point 1 “How Do I Enter”) and temperature measurement.
10 Village facilities: showers and bike park
There will not be a shower service or supervised bike park for this edition.
11 Final refreshments
At the finish line there will be refreshments with water and mineral salts.
A few metres after the finish, cyclists can pick up a packed lunch (sandwich with prime Tuscan roast pork and a bottle of water), to be consumed outside the finish area.
Unfortunately current restrictions prevent the organisation of the “Gourmet food and wine Village” which has always been a feature of our end-of-race lunch.
The awarding of prizes for the first three men and women to finish will take place near the finish area immediately after the race. The other prizes must be picked up in person by riders in the gazebo set up in the Village. Prizes that are not picked up cannot be posted.
